Text Box: Welcome ! The VFW 8627 Memorial Color Guard / Honor Guard has been formed from a need to honor all veterans who have served our great country and paid the ultimate sacrifice.
Our mission is to provide Final Military Honors at the funerals or memorial services of deceased veterans of all branches of the United States military. Its members strive to meet the highest standards of military dignity and professionalism.
Our Color Guard/ Honor Guard is frequently invited to participate in local patriotic events. All of our services are provided free of charge, and are rendered only when specifically requested.
To those of you who are currently serving and fighting for the freedoms of others, at home and abroad, please know that we are backing you. We honor and support you, and we are praying for a safe return home for all.

Having the ability or strength to handle or carry a rifle is not necessary.
We have positions and a need for flag bearers, flag folders, riflemen, among other positions.
